I'm making a puzzle game but sadly I've never created puzzles and don't know where to start. I thought it'd be a fun idea to let people join and give me ideas of puzzles they've always wanted to do, and of course, you'll get credit for it at the end :P In all there will be six puzzles so I will need six participants! Just comment your idea below and a rough example of how I would go about doing it. It can be a puzzle you've already done, a puzzle inspired by another puzzle, a puzzle you've never been able to do or had to chance to do, cliche puzzles are welcome. As long as it isn't extremely complicated. Your only job in this request thread is to comment below, so don't worry about having to go out of your way to do a lot.

You should probably play some puzzle games to get some ideas about what do do. But unlike RPGs, puzzles require some good knowledge of eventing, especially variables.
I challenge you to make a puzzle where you push blocks into water and make a walk able pathway. (But you have to have multiple routes you can go with multiple blocks you can use.)
I wish you the best of luck, but, I can't help but to have two thoughts running through my head. One, I'm pretty sure the latest Befuddle Quest fizzled. Two, I'm vaguely aware that there was (is?) Stupification Search. However, I have no idea what came of it.

Yeah, puzzle group games are sort of dead because of this. I feel the same way having participated in both of them.

I've decided to use the Beffudle Quest puzzles ^-^
If you're serious you might even be able to take over the project.
I think a lot of people would be appreciative towards an effort to complete uncompleted community projects. (Though I think there are quite a few. But Befuddle Quest is sort of famous for this.)
I won't be able to use all of the puzzles though. Some of them don't fit the game and there are only six puzzles in the game, and there's more than six that were in that event. But yea, I'm serious. Working on it now, actually (:
Ehh, but I'm doing recreations of it, I'm using the exact idea but not the same map or anything. Would that still count?

Count towards what? It's your game.
Though if you copy the maps exactly you need to credit the people who made them.

Would that still count as using the Befuddle Quest entries?
Also, they'll be getting credit either way. Some of the maps are alike, and plus they gave me the inspiration to do it.

If you're checking out the various Befuddle Quest games, and using the ideas presented there as a basis for your game, that's probably fine. Including a credit in-game (or in a text file, or whatever) that states "inspired by the Befuddle Quest series" would be a gesture that I would heartily recommend.
I cannot recommend copy-pastes of the puzzles without verifying with the author that it's okay do to that, and then give them credit for the map/puzzle. However, it doesn't sound like that is what you are doing here.
