BEST DOWNLOAD SITE TO HOST GAME

Question? My game just recently got posted to RMN. I have the file saved in Dropbox and you download it via there. However; it says "this download is hosted on another server other than RPG Maker.net"
I'm concerned that by my download being hosted by Dropbox, some may have issues downloading or perhaps won't continue with the download. I didn't see how you can upload it directly to RMN, so I guess I'm asking how? Or... does anyone have a better recommendation for a website to host my game/download?
Someone just recently asked on my game page how you download via Dropbox, so that's where my concern comes in. Are others facing the same issue possibly and just not saying anything? Want to make it as easy as possible for people to play :-) Thanks!

When you add (or edit) a download to a gamepage, there should be a field labeled "File" with a "Browse" button next to it. Pressing that should pop up a window where you can select a file on your hard drive to upload. Pressing the "Submit" button would then start uploading the file to RMN's server.
*Edit: For full disclosure, I generally use the "File" field for downloads, and replace (ie: edit) preexisting downloads with the method descriped above.
Keep in mind that you can only upload 450 MB files to game pages. You can always use your locker for files, though - the more MS you have, the bigger your locker size and there are a lot of ways to gain MS around the site.
Locker can be found under your name in the top left corner. Just browse the file you want to upload (it needs to be zipped or made into a game exe) and confirm the upload, then wait until the page changes to a different page. It can take a while.
You can then take the link for that file and add it to the Downloads page link field.

If you don't/can't use RMN I see people use Mega.NZ to host various things. You can download a zip or host a folder of things like older versions and users can pick what they want to download. It's not bad from my experience as an end user at least.
Besides RMN, you can use Game Jolt and itch.io to host your game pages and put downloads. And unlike RMN, both of those sites have an interface to sell commercial games too. Both Game Jolt and itch.io websites also allow you to have adult games (18+ content.) RMN is great for RPG Maker Games but going outside of that box will lessen your audience.

At 6308 Makerscore, I only have 310.6 MB Lockerspace available. A far cry from being a viable alternative to the gamepage's 450 MB limit. Not to mention it's already 40% full with various knick knacks and paddy whacks.
I recall attempting to answer a question about Makerscore and locker space here, including a reference to the "What is Makerscore?" article. If that's of any help.
