Hi.
I saw some people made topics regarding Fes and figured I could start up a discussion about here as opposed to the RPG Maker forums, which don't support console versions I'm told.
(You're gonna laugh at this, but I did not see the New Topic button under Actions so I thought I was supposed to put up an article.)
Anyways, there's a particular event I'm having some bugs with and I was hoping maybe some of you might have some advice.
So, it's like this:
You go into a pizza place and one of the dudes making pizza is all "DUDE GET OUT" and the player character is "no i'm looting" and then the chef complains about getting in trouble with the pizza clown to which the player responds in an indifferent manner before promptly getting the snot beat out of him and thrown out the building.
After the text it's supposed to be
Fade-Out: Instant
SFX: Smash 1 100% <---(the percentage being the pitch)
SFX: Smash 1 100%
SFX: Deathblow 7 (Smash) 100%
SFX: Smash 3 100%
SFX: Enemy annilihation 100%
SFX: Move location 100%
SFX: Smash 3 100%
Move Location: Noinpart
Fade-In: Instant
followed by the character saying "...well that sucked"
But what happens instead after they exchange dialogue is Smash 1 and then it just goes black. You can still pause, so the game is clearly still going.
It seems like it stops at Move Location. Is there only a certain amount of events I can use at at time?
----
Okay, I removed most of the sounds but that still didn't fix anything, the problem seems to lie in the Fade In/Fade Out sequence.
Also, if anybody happens to know how to get sounds to not play all at once, that'd be awesome too.

I've never used Fes so sorry if I'm being totally useless here, but:
I'd suggest removing the player movement and see if the screen fades back in. The best way to debug something short like this is to remove things until it works, OR just don't fade out at first so you can see what's happening with your code.
As for the SFX, in all the RPGmakers I've used, a "wait" or "delay" is needed. Does Fes have some sort of wait command you could place between sounds?
