Yeah I might as well. I'll be going to bed soon and I need to have a vote down. He was acting pretty suspiciously before that claim. One thing that's bothering me is that roles/items don't seem to be the same considering that tuba that spawned in. In which case why did ozzy claim to have a paper bag from the start?

@jero it's 10% of a false reading, as in he's actually nontown. That it did something doesn't indicate success.
@cave the rule forbids copypasting from masonchats into mainthread after a similar setup got blown up because lockez is the only person in a decade of irc logs to ever spell it "each-other"

@Jeroen: Do you disagree with Psy's analysis that we should try to force a hammer before the end of the day? This is a bandwagon close to the end of the day (especially since not everyone really has that much IRL awake-time left in D1), do you not think that's a little different?
@Demon: I don't think there can be nolynch, even in a tie it becomes a coin flip.
I'll try to reread and rethink things knowing Fomar is town thanks to the battle tuba. I might or might not be able to really devote much more time to this before D1 ends though.
I am OK with a demon lynch too, I guess. I guess I'm also in disagreement with most people about whether Ozzy is scummy, but I'm not feeling anywhere near as confident in Demon as I was last game.

Don't have much to add other than that AE and PA look bad. Whoever was asking why AE was on my original hitlist was I usually can follow her reasoning but couldn't for the first part of the day. Still on it for trying to start a train away from Ozzy.

While she makes big posts, they're full of extremely hedgy fence-straddling (bad), less full of talking about mechanics (something scum tend to focus on cause they can 'play' without playing,) and she also threw shade on me for something I wasn't even trying to do (illegal and bannable offense.) The vote she does thrown down is on lurker/nonentity PA (even though she saw him doing this as town last game) but, to make it worse, he had actually started to play by the time she voted him for this reason.

Because of short time remaining and PA seemed very cautious in a series of posts from a while back where he scumread Ozzy then voted differently.

this seems like a pretty big flip made in the span of 30 minutes. the ozzy stuff looks less bad to me but still not great. I'd be OK with PA dying. also worth noting that when he was town he never actually dropped the joke persona at all.
That said, I can't jump on the Demon wagon with confidence. The guy is a gaf machine on day one and he always flips town in the end. And I don't really see the use of him dropping that there is three scum in here. If he's scum then he seriously messed up to post that.
Everyone else is neutral. My top lynch picks are Demonlord and Ozzy, but I would be pretty okay with most other targets.

Let me summarize this whole Demonlord thing. I don't have a great feeling about him, but I'm genuinely confused about what he thiks he's doing.
So first, Demonlord apparently misread Cap H. He thought Cap said there were three scum.
He was tired too tired, so came back and then misread the OP as well, which he thought confirmed there were three scum.
Then he realized he made an error and he says:

Misreading is pretty standard for me I'd say. Cap, you were the first to assume there were three after I inquired about it. I'll admit I made a mistake at not reading more carefully though.
I honestly have no clue what he's talking about here. I even went through Cap's posts and I can't find where he assumed there were three. Also Jeroen (the other one), is kind of right in pointing out the defensive tone.

Like I said yesterday, neither of my reads had much confidence behind them. Initially, I was more suspicious of both Demonlord and Ozzy, but I talked myself out of both.
Demonlord was weird as hell but it fits his MO. But when I tried to picture him being scum, it's hard to imagine he would mess up so badly. It's still possible and I'm not against lynching him.
With Ozzy, I just had a gut feeling that his personality was different, but I then realized that was probably because of him playing on his own now.
I did say "My top picks are Demonlord and Ozzy" in the end. But I didn't mean "these two are top quality lynch targets". I just didn't have a case against anyone else.
My confidence in the case on these two was so low, that I didn't even vote for either in the end. I just went for the most inconspicuous player, which was Fomar.

I'm going to move Psy into my hard town. It would be extremely ballsy and/or stupid to use that tuba as scum. Scum would just sit on it and not even mention its existence.
doesn't change the context. He posts a neutral real on demonlord, then goes neutral-town in the first post I quoted, and then says he's one of his top picks. And then doesn't mention him after that. still feels like a weird flip to me.
I'd still vote emily first though.

Yeah, I agree. Even if they were willing to chance a single battle tuba, since it goes to another player (or at least we were told it does...no, it probably does) it would be a really dumb scum move to use it.

Since Ozzy, PSY and Fomar are (for now) off the table, let's see where that leaves us. Here's what I think about everyone else that I haven't mentioned
Emily who I don't see the case against. She was speculating about the hammer and I disagreed with her, but I don't see anything scummy in it. The way she voted against me also doesn't make me suspect her, it did seem like she just got Ninja'd. Also she didn't jump on the Ozzy wagon.
Cap H and CAVE Were pretty early on the Ozzy wagon. Whether that's a good or a bad thing depends on whether Ozzy is a real agent. Cap H also tried to start something on me just now. Assuming Ozzy is really an agent, I think Cap H looks like a good lynch candidate. But I also think we should wait it out first to see what Ozzy ends up being.
