Are you sure someone hasn't already done this for you?
Check out Spriters Resource or other things.

If you want to rip something, you need to take screenshots while in game.
Then you need to use an image editing program to cut out the background.
Depending on the image, this can be very time intensive.

Hmm... isn´t at here some programs do that all? Anyway...

However, if the question is to how to do it oneself, given that it's a moble game, I'm not really sure? Maybe ask on the Spriter's Resources page how they did it!
