Not a good way to start your life on RMN, Cell.
We're really (so as to only refer to myself) I'm more interested in hearing about what you're making, and what you think of other games in the community.

I disagree, Asalieri with your entire post, which isn't usual!
Firstly, it shouldn't matter whether Cell is using RM or any other program, so saying 'we want to see your RM stuff' is rather misleading, even considering I think that what in fact Cell uses. Secondly, although we are a game creation site first and foremost, when it comes down to it, someone being involved in the overall community should be more important than someone just being involved in game creation. That's what we're all here for, but by no means that's all we should discuss.

I hate AVGN's reviews, most of them are about whining controls and gameplay which are obviously outdated now.

I've heard of AVGN before, but I've never seen any of his vids. I don't think think his reveiws are about content, but humor. I watched all of them, and they were pretty enjoyable!

There's nothing wrong with AVGN. I honestly lost interest in his stuff after a while. I wasn't happy about how his humor was mostly dirty jokes. There's a time and a place for that kind of thing, and after a while, it does get old. I mean the video called Atari Porn is funny, but the dirty jokes took away from the true humor he could have been going for. *shakes head* I don't really like a lot of dirty humor. If and when he does a review on an old RPG that I might be interested in, then maybe. Otherwise? Not really. *shrug* Though I will admit, when he does the review on the CD-i Zeldas, I will watch it. I'm too much of an old Zelda fan not to watch him play the biggest insults to one of my childhood favorites.

I wish people would just do their own thing - even if they like what they see, they do not have to imitate it to get fake popularity when they could be off doing something original to make the next wave of fun for the internet! Internet popularity is fun, yes, but wouldn't you be more proud of yourself if you did something no one else had done and it became a great success?

That's probably the best part about the series, though lately I find he's been using this as a guinea pig for lame video effects and shitty skits.

I've seen a lotm of AVGN's videos, with the guy all over YouTube, Screw Attack and Gametrailers it's hard to have not seen some of his stuff.
He gets really boring and repetitive really quickly for me, and these days, seems to be struggling to come out with good material. Oh, and I really hate the specials he does. His shows are now more about him swearing, and poorly acted sequences rather than the games themselves.
