[RM2K3] CATERPILLAR HERO4 ISSUE

CloseHello! I'm just creating a post here because I've tried to google around for an answer to this. I'm a newbie as you might guess, and I've just wanted to get a follower system to work for rm2k3.
However, when I copied the events from the template project in Kentona's post, I get an error about "cannot open hero4 file". Again, I'm a newbie so I have no darn idea what that means. I looked all over the events but saw nothing. What do I do?
Also the template project doesn't open for me, which I was told might be because it's expecting default graphics from before the english release, which I'm not sure how to fix.

sounds like you are missing resources! The template project is from the "unofficial" pre-commercial-english release of RPG Maker 2003, thus it is probably referring to files from the RTP under the old naming scheme - thus when opened from the official RM2k3 and the official RTP, it can't find the files!
I'd have to update the project to the official release for it to work using the new proper RTP

Converted to the current official version of RM2k3, but lazily just dumped the old RTP into the resources of this project:

I opened this in the Steam version of RM2k3, converted the project, then just copied the files from the old RM2tsukukuru2003 RTP right into the project's resources wholesale. But it works now, for those of you who use the official Steam version and want to check it out.
