Hey, i had RPG Maker vx on my old comp, but, that comp broke down and i couldn't transfer program files or anything. Now I got a new comp, but no vx :'(I was wondering, if you don't still hav the activation code, if there is a way to retrieve either the activation code, or re-download VX without having to pay again. I know that is a dumb question, and i prolly will hav to pay again, but if there is a way to get back the code or program (no illegal suggestions please) free of charge, could you please let me know about it? Thanks

I wish I knew the answer to this. Perhaps Max or someone that has more knowledge of VX's activation can help.

Have you tried emailing and explaining all this to Protexis? They have an email address for like, support. I used it (back when I used rpg maker) to help with a problem I had once and they provided me with the information I needed, so they should be able to help you, too.

Actually, I just got my old XP activation thing back, from awhile back when I emailed, so it might take a little while. Think of it as storyline development time, I guess?

Yeah my advice would just be contact the company. I had this problem not once but twice with a different program (Quest by Axe Software) and both times I was promptly e-mailed a new activation code/copy of the software. I have no idea of Enterbrain's support is as good.

Anyway, you seem to have worked things out, so phew, you dodged the bullet.
