The bathroom still doesn't have a door on it.

Hhere's what I gave:
Parents: A digital answering machine so they don't need to listen to five minutes of garbage before the tape gets to any sort of message. Also a Wiistick and nunchuck since they got a Wii a week ago.

Sister: New wireless mouse with a cradle. Completely blew my budget for her so she isn't getting anything next year.

Brother in Law: New belt and $40 for the Shine Factory (Money because gift certificates suck and I don't ever get those)

Pair of Neices: Mario Party 8 with some hopes that they already don't own it

Everybody: Got a box of Turtles to have on Christmas

Me: I bought myself some chocolate pop-tarts on sale and I hoarded them like it wasn't Christmas

Well, we got up early and did the old gift exchange, then headed over to our grandma's for the main gift exchanging and late lunch. Socialised for a long while and I took a lot of photos. Played my cousin's wii for a while and just hung out. Then had an enourmous lunch, took a ton home, entertained more family and friends, rang up grandparents and had a general ball.

Also almost fainted a few times from the heat. Mid thirties with a touch and go breeze and a lot of muggyness.

Now I'm gonna relax.

Oh, was there some event today or something?

nope it was just a regular day except people decided to give and recieve gifts.

Christmas is officially over now, I started watching Outlaw Star again, last time I watched it was like 8 years ago when I was 7. It was a great nostalgia, Kingdom Hearts is fun, I downloaded I Am Legend to my PSP. Never seen that movie and I'm trying to find a movie to watch called "Fears of the Dark", it's an independent film. Although there were no snow it was a great christmas. I hoped everyone enjoyed their christmas.

christmas didn't feel like anything out of the ordinary this year. there are some family issues, so it was small and pretty chill. the only thing out of the ordinary was the extra food at dinner, decorations and gift exchange. the presents were really awkward to exchange without all the excitement. weird almost.

- Parents go into a massive argument with relatives and ditched the family reunion. They refused to answer the phone and I got tired of trying to explain what was going on so I hid in the bathroom and sat in the tub with my laptop while claiming to have "massive digestive problems" that will make me "occupy the restroom for the coming hours"
- Hung out with some old friends at a cafe

All in all it is a pretty decent Christmas. I did not expect much this year from a lot of people because the economy in my town is quite awful and I understand why people wouldn't go all out this year. Hell, we didn't even buy a Christmas tree; my family just used my old fake tree that I originally bought for my dorm.
