Use the Common Event in Menu script and link it to a show choice -> set move route for player -> change graphic event.

A common event is an event that is used throughout the entire game usually multiple times. It's easily accessible with calls and triggers. You can find it in Database options, it's actually really simple like RPG Making 101.
