CloseFirst of all, I'm new here, and this site doesn't look bad (although I think it could use some work...)
My question has a bit of backstory, scroll down if you think you can solve it without knowing the whole thing...
Anyway, my main computer has no internet on it, and I bought rpg maker xp on my friends computer, I have the key and all, but I need it on my computer at my house (which again, has no internet.) When I click on rpg maker xp after installing it, i get a message telling me that the program failed to recieve a trial number from the server.
So the question is, is it possible to register rpg maker xp without having internet on the computer I wish to register it on? if so, how???

Umm..... I have yet to actually purchase the game, and am using the rial edition. But anyway, I think internet is 100% necessary to install RMXP. The serial number, when put into the prigram, is read by the owners online, then confirmed as a valid serial number. Then the program is usable whenever. I may be a bit off, but I've done this sort of thing with other programs, and that's always how it seems to work. Sorry, dude...
I doubt you can, as you need to connect to the nTitles server for a trial #
The process went like this for me:
- Downloaded the trial @ download.com
- Installed it
- Booted it in Admin (Vista)
- It asks if you want to use the trial, or buy it.
- If you buy it, it gives you a serial.
- Using the serial, it will give you a website to go to. This site gives you the Activation code.
- Put the Activation Code in the box provided, and voila! you are active!
...Doesn't seem like you could crack it either, as you need to be online to install it. Uless you can find a bypass for that process to get to the activation option in the program, I think you're stuck.

Cool, thanks you guys, and no, you can't crack it offline. You can online however (but of course, I do not support that, due to legal issues, LOL). I just wish I had internet, because now I have gone and wasted that money, as the computers I use to access the web are not accessible enough for me to make a decent RPG.
