WALKING THROUGH WALLS...PLEASE HELP!

Okay so I'm pretty new to this game engine (RPG Maker XP), but does everyone else have the same problem I have of my character being able to walk through walls?

And no I'm not making floor tiles for my walls or anything like that. There are just random spots that when I walk up to them I walk completely through it. Even decorative pieces like tables and bookcases have the same issue. I'm wondering if I'm the only one having this problem.

Please help, I want to make a game but I keep having to restart because of this bug!

Where do I check to see if my character is checked for "through"? Where you edit his stats etc? I can't seem to find that selection.

And I really don't think it's the pieces because the pieces I can walk through are completely random. I've tried trashing and then rebuilding the area but the same problem occurs at a new part of the map.

Am I the only one that has a problem like this?

I may be new but Im not dumb XD. No the control key isn't stuck. Although I am using the The Postality Knights version. Anyone know of any problems with that?
