RMNCAST: EPISODE 7
Posts

RPGmaker.net's official podcast. This week, we have played the amateur games Quintessence, dotPLUS, Demon Tower, and Origin. We also discuss recent community events, including some very sad news for RPGMaker.net. Regular hosts Brandon Abley and Matt "McDohl" are in full form.
All problems with audio production have been fixed and it sounds great.

That's some fucking epic intro music, Abley. :o
Thank you. :) It is a track from the USG: A New Beginning Symphonic Suite. You can download it www.brandonabley.com. <3
Oh, btw Brandon, in case you didn't see it in the interesting fact thread, this is for you:

The first thing I noticed was the nicely redesigned space for the podcasts. It's a lot nicer than the generic design we had before, I think.
Listening now, too. Sounding nice, as per usual. <3

A lot more profesional this time. The first time I listened to the rmncast it sounded like crap. However this time the sound was really clear no feedback. So great job. Only sad thing is that it did not seem like you guys played very many games?
Anyway getting better every week very intertaining eargrly awaiting the next one.

I was listening to Episode 6 on the way home today, so this is good news to me.
I think Episode 5 was the most 'fluid' and 'professional' sounding. It reminded me of a 1UP podcast or something. Episode 6 wasn't as good, but this series is a must-listen to me.

Why so much hate for episode 6 you guys.
The audio is SUPER BAD. Depending on your audio setup it is really unlistenable and almost hurts your ears. I delayed putting it up partly because I was ashamed :(
The sound quality was very nice in this one; are you guys doing these via recording online voice chat?
Thanks for the coverage and pointers on Quintessence:

Ah, thanks very much for you guys' time! I've listened to it, there are many good points about the game-play. I'll probably be addressing that in the near future. c: Again, much appreciated.

We usually do them that way, but this time we rented out space on Joystiq's oil tanker in the mid-Atlantic.
I keep forgetting to post in the RMNCast topics!
I really look forward to these and have listened to all of them. Nothing particular to say on this podcast, just wanted to show my love.
Although I will say, Two hosts really worked, it made it shorter, but prevents anyone talking over each other.

I may have said this already, but this was easily our best podcast by far. Great job guys. Also, I like how brandon has figured out a way to pimp out his music in some sort of strange symbiotic relationship with the podcast.
