http://twitter.com/
I have an account on it. It's like msn but way better.
As does most of the internet.
It's essentially a social networking app that allows users to post "mini-updates". It's pretty popular these days and a lot of sites and organizations are using it.

What is twitter?
Maybe it's an American thing? Kinda like how MySpace is only really popular in the US.
I will follow when I'm on a computer that allows me to access twitter (stupid work computers). As for integrating it into the site, having something on the homepage would work. Is it possible to integrate twitter into sigs on forums (I'm assuming as long as they allow HTML)? If so, then the twitter should be linked to the latest site news (or if you update it more than the site news, then latest goings on with the site).
From a poll on MSN.ca:
Bell is offering Canada's Twitterers to get 'tweets' via text messages. Do you Twitter?
Yes, I'm hooked
1%
No, not interested
31%
What's Twitter?
68%
16565 responses, not scientifically valid, results
Sums up my views on it.

Mine too, ken.
Apparently, Twitter is only insanely popular with serious losers those who live on social networking sites. :-\
lol.
I just read in the paper that people are upset with Bell over the pricing of receiving "tweets" on their mobile devices. 15 cents/tweet sent OR received. As an added bonus, having an unlimited text-msg plan doesn't cover "tweets" because they are considered a premium service!
Man, do cell phone plans suck in Canada, or what?

So if you signed up to recieve tweets (or were forced to) by company x and they sent, like, 50/day...
