POST COUNT?
Posts
It has not been removed, it has just been moved to your user profile (click on your name).
Why not? We're going to be trying to gather all user info in one place. It is kind of a e-penis thing on the actual forums. We're working on various forum adjustments today and this was one of them.
Also, it is one less DB call from the forums, so threads will load 1.021% faster.*
*I made that number up. I have no idea how much it improves it.

Lol
Anyway I guess it's alright without the post count, but there was nothing wrong with it being shown in posts in the first place. I mean, it's directly related to the forums too.
Hey yeah...it's gone! I didn't even fuking see that until now!
...But judging by the changes to the main site today, I like it like this. It's nice, it makes everyone feel equal and balanced. Although on the negative side, it's also good to see who posts a lot...but whatever!

We are still keeping careful track of every STUPID post anyone makes, and when the day of judgment comes, there will be a mighty reckoning, and you will be struck with rods of burn iron once per worthless post.
People tend to judge other members by their post count very quickly, as they assume time spent on the forums translates into being a decent member, failing to acknowledge it's the quality of someone's posts that matters, not the quantity.
It tends to remove a certain level of elitism (not that we have an issue with that) and puts everyone on an even playing field.

True Sam. Anyway, if anyone wants to see the Top Ten posters or something just check on the Members page.
Some of the post counts are crazy, sometimes you have to wonder what that would've translated into hours spent making games.
