Yeah!
Bunch of stuff I've been working on for a little while. Trying to learn how to use the program (XP because I'm dumb/cool like that) and I'm learning a little slowly. Also working on designs and stuffage for when I'm ready to start something seriously (yeh rite i know)!
The drawings have some anatomy errors and the poses are boring, feel free to point that out if you so wish but I know they're there~ Was just working on the designs though! (I was also really lazy with coloring too!)
I'll shut up now!

The illustrations get the point across and the ideas are successfully translated to the sprites. I am not a very big fan of the designs, however, with the exception of the guy in green armor and the dark lord dude. I find the colors of the women actively garish - especially the one in white, green and pink. Very awkward color coordination there. The guy in green and the dark lord are effective because their color choices are solid and they don't clash.
The sprites, however, are quite nice. Very nice job there! Though the face sprite is pretty hard to read. Tone down the colors.
Curious to see where this goes.

I think they look quite nice. I don't the colors to clash at all, but that's my opinion of course. What game are they for?

Thank you very much for the input. I really appreciate it!
You're the first person to bring up the color choices in a negative tone saying they clash. Though to be fair, I admit, I haven't shown these to alot of people, just a few outside of here. Excluding the two you mentioned that you liked, I was deliberately seeking out contrast with the colors. Where as with the green armored guy and dark lord dude I was trying to give them subdued colors which I felt matched their personality. Still I very much appreciate the honesty and if this becomes a concern with alot of people if I get feedback from whomever I show I'll consider changing some of the colors.
Thanks on the sprites. Does anyone else feel the colors on the face sprite need to be toned down? They look fine to me on my monitor, but I know not everyone's settings are the same there. Well, I can see the red scarf possibly be in need of being toned down. I was trying to make it bright red.. haha.
I'll definitely keep you updated as I progress with work on this. :)

Thank you very much! :D
They're for an idea I have right now that is currently unnamed. I'm working on ideas for it.. designing characters, writing and establishing the setting.. Since I really want to try to work on creating my own graphics for it and I'm not really familiar with the program, I don't really expect this to get too far with it so far.
Hm. What can I say about it.. I guess I want to do something along the lines of Breath of Fire IV sorta, but without the element of a supernatural villain that was featured in that game.

Golbez? IS THAT YOU?!
:D
I 100% admit that Golbez was the inspiration for that design, though I drew him without any reference and turned in a design not nearly as badass as a result.
