Why has the order of comments on game pages been changed from newest to oldest to oldest to newest? I liked it the other way, with the newest comments at the top of the page.

I would guess because it would make more sense. I know it always bothered me. It is easier to follow a discussion.

In that case, game pages should jump to the oldest unread comment, like the forums!

There is quite a large difference between a discussion in a forum and a comment on a game page. If the newest comments are at the top, it is quicker to find and read the new ones.

I repeat however, that there is quite a large difference between a discussion in a forum and a comment on a game page. For the most part, there are going to be more separate comments than interlinking comment discussion.

The other thing is that with a games title constantly popping up in the forums, it is pretty hard to miss it. Thus, people are more likely to post there, rather than on the game's page

Visibility of the game pages is an issue we're trying to resolve. WIP's cool idea of having a centralized repository for all game page updates was one of the better ideas.
