RM2k3 not working on Vista Topic

I just bought a new computer a few days ago, it uses Windows Vista, and upon installing RPG Maker 2003 and trying to start a new project, it said "project creation could not be completed"

Is RM2k3 compatible with Vista? and if so how would I go about fixing this annoying issue?

PLEASE HELP! :-(

Did you install it to your "Program Files" folder?

Try running it as an Administrator

Okay, cool. running as admin worked. heh. I'm Used to XP. :-p Vista's a whole new ball game to me. thanks alot.

Take note of this.

If you are running UAC (User Account Control) on Vista, and you attempt to copy or move your project files/folder to another medium (e.g. Flash drive, etc.) the system will run the copy operation, however the files will not be updated if you attempt to overwrite a previous copy. Took me a few days to narrow down the reason my files never updated...

Anyways, I hope you don't have this problem.
