FREE REALMS

With the launch date being tomorrow (wait what, how is it ready?), Free Realms is going to be playable by all pretty soon. Now that the Beta has ended, I can share my experiences with you all...

Consider it a journal of sorts, and feel free to discuss the game.



The game downloads the client and 'installs' itself (it is played in your browser, sort of) while you create your character. This is only male face that isn't incredibly fagalicious.



Cute pig is cute, despite ripping off Charlotte's Web.



While clicking around the world and returning Wilbur to his owner, this happened. I was pleasantly surprised, and it's not the only little silly thing in the game; the entire game is silly and has tons of stuff like this--some of it is even 'collectable.' The game encourages exploration in its world... which seems to be the size of two and a half WoW areas as of now.



Not only is quest text said, displayed in green text and added to your chat log, a green trail of "bread crumbs" shows you exactly how to get to your destination.



Chefs are hot. Also, you can switch your class at any time (outside of the instanced battles) with no penalty.



I cooked an awesome stew by use of a few addicting minigames, which allowed this fairy to take back her birthday party in style.



Thought you might want to see what a girl looks like! Also, "Running Man" is the greatest emote ever.


Want to play the game tomorrow? It's totally free (although 3/5 battle classes are for members only 0_0 ) and you can be a ninja or a postman (who doesn't like to deliver mail!?!?!??!?!).
