The next big site update will be putting restrictions on reviews. These bad reviews will be cleared out.
To me, reviews should only be made when a game is completed. You often won't find much potential in a demo or something like that.
Most games don't get completed. In an ideal universe, yes, having reviews only for completed games would be best, but it won't work.
Also, bad games will be cleared out of the database as well (such abandoned games with no details).

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
We actually had a system in place where only completed games could get reviews. In progress games were only eligible for shorter "previews" that gave no grades or such. But, as kentona mentioned, the problem is most games don't get completed.
In terms of the rpgmaker scene, a demo is as complete as most games get.

Ia agree. Some of the reviews are quite good. It probably would be good to get rid of some reviews here such as this one.

Idiodic one's such as this should be deleted.

That's why there is a comment system.

You better not be rubbishing my review Gadreel. :(
Yes? I am most definitely rubbishing it! I can tell you why too. If you'd like to know why, please do proceed to the nearest Private Messaging Station and ask me unless you'd rather it be more public.
Lol, first of all, this does sound like quite the complaining and whining, but for VERY good reason
Second of all, I just feel stupid now, since I was put on there twice. Of course, this is because I was giving feedback in the reviews rather than in the comments (which at the time, I hardly realized existed).

Have you read my first and only review on um..some game. I think it was Ketona's but yeah I want criticism so I can improve and do more reviews and gain in confidence. At the moment, I dread people like Gadreel.
EDIT: Found it!

Tell me what you think. Do I have the stuff to be a regular reviewer or not? :P

As long as your review actually has some length to it, don't worry. The bad reviews on the site are the short ones that give 5/5. :/

Can I just comment that even full games are sometimes unplayable. The game maker might oversee some things like overpowered enemies, serious glitches (after beta testing) etc.

I think you're missing out on the point of homebrew development.

To put things in perspective using everybody's favorite example game, A Blurred Line has never been finished.
