Hi all. I have a few questions about the rules for submission.
What is the definition of "advertising submission" used here?
Also,
My game exceeds this size, however I already have it on my own site, on my own bandwidth so I don't have any need to use up yours. Also I'd rather keep only one download source for my game, to keep updates to it easier to manage.
Can I have my game released here using an off site download?
The Two Types of Game Submissions Allowed:
Advertising submissions require at least 2 paragraphs, 4-5 sentences each, of information. You are also required to have at least 3 screenshots showing some form of in-game play.
Demo/Full Game submissions require at least 1 paragraph, 4-5 sentences long, explaining your project as well as at least 2 screenshots showing some form of in-game play.

Downloads
Game downloads below 20 MB are accepted so long as it follows the Terms of Service. Games greater than that are up to RMN staff discretion.

Advertising submission means a game still in production(As in no release for it just yet) and yes you can upload your own DLinks to the site.
No, because it's your bandwidth, not WIP's, that you use on off-site links.
Cool. I wasn't sure if it was a bandwidth issue alone, or a "let's not have our users download 2.5 gigs of junk" rule. ;D
(PS: my game is not 2.5 gigs)

Yeah you can put any offsite link in. Also a note that the 20MB "limit" is just sort of not enforced. We've accepted 150MB games.
