CloseLately i have been looking through at some of your usernames and was wondering where you got the idea from calling yourself that? I'll start.
My username is 'demondestiny'. I called myself this because of the game series that i am in the middle of creating. Demon Destiny.

Cool idea, man!
Anyway, Quiversee. This came up about 4 years ago. My dad was teaching me how to play Dungeons and Dragons. He asked me what I wanted to name my character, and I said I couldn't come up with anything. He asked what I wanted to play, I said a bard. He started thinking, and came up with an interesting idea. He though maybe to edit the name of some famous bard, musician, storywriter, etc. First name in both our heads: William Shakespear. I don't remember how, but together, we twisted "Shakespear" into "Quiversee", so I named him, "Bill Quiversee". Later, when Dungeons and Dragons Online came out, I decided to try out the same name, with Bill as the first name, and Quiversee as the surname. Bill was taken, so I used Quiversee. Ever since, I became known as Quiversee to anyone I met online, except in a few places, where I was nicknamed qvri. Sometimes I even use qvri, and use Quiversee for special things. I even call my computer Quiversee. 8)

I started playing WoW, made an undead priest. Clicked Randomize Name....got Melch.

Ocean's Dream comes from me liking bright and colorful paradise/fantasy types of settings. But mainly, it's a combination of Ocean's Rhapsody and Island Dreams (2 previous projects of mine, unfortunately lost due to not backing them up and computer problems).
At first I was going to use Azure Ocean as my username, but I couldn't decide between them so I just stuck with Ocean's Dream. At times, I use Ragnarok as my username, named because the Ragnarok swords in the FF games are always pretty awesome. I don't use it often, nor do I stick with that as I prefer Ocean's Dream. I may also use Haruhi as a username since I tend to use a Haruhi avatar quite often.

Registered for a PlayOnline account way back when. Final Fantasy IX happened to be my big thing at the time, so I tried going for "trance," (as in the limit break-type thing in FFIX) but it was taken, so just go one number up. It is not related in any way to the form of music known as "trance," but incidentally, I do enjoy trance music.
I also go by Ashen(Neko) on other places, from the nickname that I'd love to be using IRL, but my real name is just a little too stuck in the minds of my friends.

I am named after a font choice. When I started using "Shadowtext" when I was eleven (this was twelve years ago), I thought it was a clever subversion on how everyone seemed to use a name with "shadow" in it to be all dark and mysterious, and I went with a name that references probably the lamest font option available.
Unfortunately, I think that in reality the joke is ignored and these days I look like just another shadow-whatever.

Shinan was my first tabletop RPG character.
Over the years I've used the name for numerous characters in games and stories. Shinan has had many different personalities but I kinda made the "ultimate" Shinan for my first naNoWriMo in 2003 so the character is kinda retired. But it's still the name I always use online (and usually as my first save file in any game).

yeah, my username is pretty lame. I should've went with something cool and edgy, like "gbone" or something.

I always seem to call myself demondestiny on many other sites as well. It is pretty much what i call myself from now on. I only have one other username that i used to use which was 'mviduka'. Named after the famous soccer player Mark Viduka.

Euphorian- Euphoria, pretty clear there. Euphorian-Dream, I use in some places. It sounded cooler than "Euphoric". :p

Antifarea which means the opposite of farea. lol to make the story short, i knew a dude named farea lol and we got into a fight and then i ended up with that name hahahaha, it was something in the past, and i was supposed to keep the name for that day it happened, but then i liked the name so i kept it.

My username i actually got from a Yugioh card when i used to play the card game a while back. The card was Maoville and led me to many great wins. That's why i named it for my username.

Mine is yamata no orochi, for two reasons.
1. The yamata no orochi is awesome. Proof: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamata_no_Orochi
Also, the part where you fight the yamata no orochi in Okami is one of the craziest boss battles ever, especially when Susanoo appears.
2. I had this idea for a manga around then, about a future Japan where aliens come, kill samurai, subjugate the emperor, etc. An ancient cult attempts to summon Susanoo, wielder of the legendary Kusanagi, but they get the other wielder, an inebriated bandit who uses the name Yamata no Orochi, instead. Said bandit goes on a mad rampage, joining forces with young boys Ji and Maru, along with a ninja. Then Susanoo appears, trying to take the Kusanagi back, and everything goes to pot. Cue mad battles, with aliens vaguely influenced by Japanese yokai, etc.
So, Yamata no Orochi.

So in high school, the brilliant minds that roamed the halls thought of an endearing nickname for me because the word "Phil" is in "philharmonic." So they started calling me "The Philharmonic."
Then it just became "The Harmonic."

That is very odd. I used to have a friend that named himself after a pokemon card and his friend who named himself after a one piece card. :D
