Guys guys I want to critique screenshots can't we critique screenshots? that's a pretty map tardis though I agree with the water thing. water woud maek it prettier. in fact I'm gunna post it again so people on THIS page can see it :DDDD

I'm sensing a puzzle with those red and blue colored flames. Nice touch with the steam on the lava. Although it's kinda weird with all the cool colors. Dunno why there's a lava pit in a watery cave.

@Blindmind- That cave looks great, even if it is built out of rudra rips. Normally, I'm not super fond of folks using the rudra cave set, just because it's overused, but you used it quite nicely. My one complaint is the red/blue torches/braziers stick out a bit on top of the super-subdued tones of the cave chip. A quick edit with photoshop could fix that. In fact, if you don't have photoshop/don't know how to do such a thing (lol look at me being presumptuous D:) you can always send them my way. ;)
@Feld- Those look great! Are they standalone, or splices of a bigger map?
@Orig- I think just one apostrophe after my name would do to signify ownership. ;)
Wonderful map Blindmind! I have a few comments though. I don't know anything about the location of that cave, but like Orig said, the lava there doesn't seem quite right. I'm getting a very mossy, moist atmosphere and then randomly there's lava! Also it looks very tight near the start of that map, just above those stairs. Remove that pillar of cavern and see how it looks. One more thing, along the bottom of the cave you've mapped the ceiling tile like you would do in a forest. It doesn't make much sense.

@Blindmind: Looks very fancy, I like that. But yes, the lava and forest type layering don't really work.
First shot is me testing out that cave tile, seeing how it works with rudra chars. Might change it up some.

Nice and simple cave Lennon! I like it. I think the Rudra charasets fits no problem. I'm not sure where the sudden cave theme has come from, but I'm afraid you won't be able to out do Tardis.

Uhhhhh..... It might be from a tales game. Eternia I think. Or possibly Phantasia. I'm not totally sure cause I just had it laying around.

The cave Lennon is using is from SD3. Or at least I think it is, but I'm pretty sure. Small simple cave looks great.

(I'm not sure where your game takes place, but I'm interested in seeing what you could do with a forest, or a cliff or something.) I don't know what to say about that map really, since it's pretty much perfect. There is the window that needs to be turned (which you already said), but otherwise, I have no criticisms.
BM, my only complaint is what tardis said, the torches stand out a bit too much. Actually, the little bushes, the little pillar they sit on, and the little green leafy plant on the ground stand out a bit too, but they're fine I guess.

AC- My game takes place underground, of course! I would be more than happy to fish out a forest or a cliff screen from another project for you, though. My lack of variety in screenshots owes to the fact that the project isn't very far along at present, although progress is being made at an epic rate. I'm just working the most on the town at present, ergo I post screenshots of my latest work for opinions. ;)

This menu's going to get expanded to house 3 pages of items. It'll be self-indexing once I'm done with it, meaning no pre-set slot for a potion or whatever. Items show up in the order you got them, and once you use something/get rid of something, the other items move up to fill the empty slot.
Also, the nice big empty area on the red bar is where item info will go.

Ah, yeah, understandable, as my game takes place on a space station. And that is a pretty sweet menu shot, it'll probably look even better when it's fully working.
If you did fish a screen from another project, that'd be cool to see, if it isn't a hassle.
