no, not the plagiarism one. it's not because of basing something off established material (like Kirby or Mother..3?)
Wait, I thought it was supposed to be based off of games? Either way, I find it kind of humorous that my picture reflects gameplay without my intention of it. I just thought it looked cool. Or am I ineligible as well?
naa the point is more that it can be based off games (or it can be entirely original) but the actual aim of the contest is to create mockup game screenshots or resources. i.e. something you'd post in the screenshot topic! (and not just a pixel scene of your favourite game characters which is what you both seemingly have done)

Eh oh well, I wasn't really gunning for the money anyways. If it's ineligible, crap, if it's not, yay for me. Although, Kirby is displaying an ability he uses in-game, so it could be looked at as if it was zoomed in or somethin.

To be fair, I was mostly absent for the discussion of the revamped set of rules, so I may very well be off with my statements. I will talk to WIP and the other judges to be sure of what exactly is eligible for the end assessment. I admit that it is slightly ambiguous, and I apologize, but hopefully everyone is comfortable enough with the idea to still participate.
Sounds interesting. I will take part maybe, if I can manage it. But I am from Germany. So if I win (what will not happen anyway) ze money you have to convert it in to €uros. X,-D

So should I carry on with it then? I probably will anyway, it's taken forever just to do her face, and i'd feel like a quitter if i stopped.
Unless it is something that looks game-like, it isn't eligible. The OP actually has a lot of images that don't count due to them just being GIANT WALL OF PIXELS. Sure that looks great, but we're about game making here!

Yeah Blindmind, to avoid confusion you should probably remove the images that don't fit in with the requirements!

To clear up the confusion, why not just call it, blatantly "MOCK UP CONTEST ENTRIES MUST BE MOCK UPS."
I am from mexico so i dont think to win the money (I think that i can win XP but i dont like to win money from another country is a big challenge ;D) I will still enter to the competition if i win i give my prize to the second place XP, i dont really want that money now i just think this gonna be funny but just one question, (i Have been confused for many things that everyone say i really dont ready understand) its has to be a pixel art kind of a game or a rpg maker pic like backroung chipset charset how?????
