MAKING YOUR CHARACTER JUMP ON THE BATTLE SCREEN?

Sort of like a Dragoon in Final Fantasy, and come crashing down on the enemy.

I was thinking of ways to do it and I got nothing. Maybe have a frame of your character crouching, then one of just his legs, but that would be a weird, messed up teleport.

I looked through the database under the animation tabs and I didn't see a way to do it either. But I'm guessing it would start with the crouching and jumping frames for the Character Pose, and the crashing down would be under Battle Animation?

Make both the Character pose and the Battle Animation the same length.

The character pose should start with him jumping, and end with him returning to his position from the top of the screen.

The battle animation needs blank frames until a bit after he jumps above the screen. He then crashes into the enemy, and then jumps back above the screen. The character pose has blank frames during this.

Then the character pose shows him return to position.

There's ways to smooth this out, such as a quick fade-out using transparency in the Animations tab, but that's the gist of it.
