I got through Infection, Mutation, and Outbreak, but Quarantine I had to stop because it was getting waaay to repetitive. There's this fetch quest before the final dungeon that's roughly the longest, most monotonous thing in any videojugeo ever.
Love the story, but the gameplay sucks.
Love the story, but the gameplay sucks.
It's one game that drags on across four. You have to rebuy the exact same game where the only change is that the plot advances and once you beat the first game you have pretty much experienced 90% of the other three. The gameplay is stale, the dungeons are repetative as hell, the writing is uninteresting, and there isn't one redeeming feature across all four games.

The basic concept and plot is interesting stuff, but it's spread out too thin. Have played through the first three parts personally. If it was one 20 hour game it would be rather interesting, but yeah. No recommendation unless you liked .hack//SIGN series (which does rule).
