TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

I figured a good number of you have seen this movie by now, so here goes.
Me and some friends caught the midnight showing the night before it came out, and the theater was PACKED. Even before I saw any figured days later, I knew this was going to be a popular movie. Also, I had to wait about a half hour in line to get a Icee.
Anyway, as for the movie itself, I'm not sure what to think. I ENJOYED it, and it was a blast to watch, especially when about a dozen friends are with you. But as far as the quality of the movie itself, post viewing? I'm not sure. First of all, the movie was long. Very, very long. The movie's time could have been used more wisely if certain scenes were cut, like Sam's mothers weed fueled rampage, or montages of someone traveling somewhere else, and this is especially a shame considering how short the final fight was. Which is even more of a shame considering how underwhelming the last fight scene is compared to the one in the middle of the movie (in the forest).
Also, Mudflap and Skids were embarrassing. I could go on, but I'll wait a few posts in. Your thoughts?

It was entertaining. I mean, it's not like I expected anything else from a movie about giant robots beating each other up. I certainly don't think it deserves the bashing many of the internet reviewers seem to give it. (At least the ones I watch like SpoonyOne and shit think so..)
I really did think the jokes were dumbed down a lot and Mudflap and Skids (I assume these are the red and green twins) were REALLY dumb, the only thing they did that was kinda funny was the ninja thing in the desert. Aside from that the only joke I found actually laughable was the skinny shirt conversation in the school scenes.
But, all in all it was an entertaining sequel. I'm looking forward to the third one, which I hope will contain Unicron. That was the rumor at least, that it was going to.
On a side note, my friend slept through this, which I found really funny.

It was like sitting down with a Blender running by your left ear, and someone screaming into your right ear.
It was mindlessly entertaining. The final fight was a huge letdown though. As someone who never watched the old series I can't really say I had any expectations.
It was about on par with the first movie for me. Those retarded hillbilly twins or whatever dragged the whole movie down about 10 notches. I was super excited when I though Devastator was going to crush them. Soundwave was a letdown, too. And Devastator wasn't all that devastating. And Starscream isn't sniveling - conniving yes, sniveling no.
It was a fun action romp with some awesome scenes (forest fight), a lot of plot holes, hot chicks and cool weapons. 3.5/5

I hate Transformers so much.
generation 1 / '86 film are excellent. I refuse to acknowledge anything after generation 1 finished.
It was worse than the original movie and that was one huge excuse to introduce a bunch of new figures to buy. I certainly won't be watching #3 in theaters.
How to ruin Unicron in one easy step: Make him built by a giant space monkey
It is almost as bad as Carnage in C Minor
almost
and that is an amazing feat that nobody should be able to do
