CAN'T GET TEST PLAY TO WORK

I just started to use RPG Maker 2k3 and I can't get test play to work. Whenever I press it Vista freaks out and 2k3 gives me an error message. What should I do?

Try pressing F9. If that doesn't work... get Windows 7.

Or someone else to help.

What does the error message say? That is a very necessary part of the diagnosis you know.

It's just a generic vista error message. I kinda worded my original post in a wrong way.

Uh, even what that message says would be a lot of help. There are a lot of 'generic Vista error messages'.

By generic you mean it says?

Edit: Feld ninjad me, but seriously, if you tell us exactly what it says we'll be able to figure out how to fix it
