[VX] [COMMUNITY PROJECT] ANYONE WANT TO DETAIL MAPS?

I have uploaded a map pack with a few maps that need detailing. This would just greatly speed things up and improve the community project as a whole for my VX. Of course you will be given credit in any way you desire. A sign that says what you do, a NPC that tells people you helped or anything else that is creative.

Sure it might seem bad to ask for help, but it is a community project and this makes sure there is more of a different feel to things than one person making every town. Hopefully you can put your own spin on things and make it more interesting.

Here are the steps:
1. download the .exe at ::

2. call the map that you are going to edit (this prevents 2 people from editing the same map).

3. upload the map to your own locker.

4. give a link to your own .exe in your own locker.

Adding stuff. Anything you want. Adding crops, adding signs, adding, flames, adding landscaping, adding fun things.

The maps so far have everything, they just lack personality. They are good as is, but not great or fantastic.
I'll spruce up the Farm one. Are we supposed to map the insides of buildings? What about NPCs and such?
No insides. They are already done. I just did not disconnect the doors.

You can add NPCs, and events, maybe even make a well go to another map (if you design the map), or make a secret area somewhere (if you map the area). Lights, fires, signs, NPCs, birds, butterflies, livestock, whatever.

Will this work? Or do you need the entire project? I have to run, so all I did was spruce it up a bit. There aren't any NPCs or extra areas or anything.
This works! I do not need the entire project and I like the way you did it a map instead of the whole project. This prevents overwrites I suppose :-) Although I just realized map001 overwrites the castle so it is not without its faults. The system I mean :-)

As for the map, it looks great and different. I keep going between the two of them to see the differences :-)

Umm wow... Maia, those are very impressive maps! I wish I could draw like that... :-/
May I please request to dwn load this and keep it to use as a reference whenever I make myself some dungeons and so forth? You would of course be credited for the general idea.

I need interiors of inns for the following places: The grand wooden city of Beaverton, the humble farm village of Oxdale, the wooden village of Plainsboro, the bustling pirate place known as Port Teeming and the happy island village of Angler's Perch.

If anyone would care to do those interiors.

If you cannot think of anything to do for these, but still want to participate, here are some ideas:

BEAVERTON CITY INN
This upscale, fancy inn cators to the rich and is priced accordingly. Warriors, mages, dignitaries come to stay in its big beds. The hostess of the bar is gorgeous and all of the warriors try for her heart or body. The Inn Keeper is her angry father.

PORT TEEMING INN
This is a shady place, full of pirates, drunken fishermen, and whorish dancers. It is dirt cheap, grungy, unclean and has a number of rats. The innkeeper lost his eye years ago when he was a pirate. The piano player is secretly an assassin working on her next target.

OXDALE INN
A quiet place, with barely any guests. It is a place to get some great rest, but there are a limited amount of rooms. It is a bed and breakfast owned by a family that cator to their guests every whim.

PLAINSBORO INN
An average place owned by an elderly woman who has been bed ridden for a decade. She has the greatest room, but her grand daughter is now the innkeeper that warns people not to go into the big room.

ANGLER'S PERCH INN
This inn is small, delapadated, and needs fixing. There are always plenty of workers in here to fix it, but no one can seem to do the job. The workers are bumbling, noisy and anger guests. The innkeeper is a happy former fisherman that loves to smoke.

I went ahead and did the ruins map (the fortress) for you

some of those soliders are meant to move about as if on patrol, I think its pretty easy to tell which ones. Also if those waterfall events are in the wrong place then feel free to move them up or down so they look right (I always mess up the placement and have to check)

as for credit, just put me in the game's end credits, I don't need anything creative
Thanks Yoshio :-) I liked the adjustments. I will stick your name in the game credits. There is a little notepad thing in the game that I am keeping all credits in :-) I like the little lanterns, just because I have none of those particular lanterns in there.
