A LITTLE PNDERING QUESTION...

I was just finding myself very curious. I remembered that WIP uses ika, and I think I might give it a try. But anyway, I checked out one of his game pages, and found a comment from rcholbert (I hope I speeled it right). He said he might have to remove the game, which has brought me up some thinking.

For all this time, I thought WIP was the owner of this site, is this true, if not, who is?
RMN is a publicly traded company.

No one really knows....
WIP and rcholbert joined at the same time, and were first to do so, so I assumed they own it together.

The truth is fairly complicated.

I technically own the RMN domain, as well as lease and manage the server that hosts it. I bought the domain in 2003, and I had pretty big plans for it. Unfortunately, I'm a pretty busy guy (understatement) and truly was not able to give RMN the administration it deserves. So I passed the reigns to WIP.

WIP is a old chum of mine. We go way back, relatively, like 1999 back. He was originally a co-admin (along with Ankylo) for the failed previous incarnations of the site. He was always intended to be the programming mastermind behind the site, but, back in the good old days, getting WIP to code something that you NEEDED and not something that he WANTED was like pulling teeth. He's shaped up a lot since then, as evidenced by this wonderful python masterpiece. Though it was four years late!

However, I still lurk quite a bit and do discuss many of the details of the site behind the scenes. It's a great deal; I have all of the authority and none of the responsibility.

P.S. If you really want to know who runs this site day-to-day, it's definately kentona. He's brought quite a bit of life to the site.

P.S.S. The comment on WIP's game, Knight, was purely me mocking him!

What Holb said.

As for ika, if you don't know how to program, don't even try it.
I have actually never tried that system Ika. But i do suck at programming so i think i'll just stay with rm2k3.

Even though I'm an admin, I had no idea about the backstory to RMN. I was brought in by special request*.

*I requested to be an admin and they said "Yes". It was special.

No doubt, I see Kentona everywhere. As for the comment I thought it was serious, I guess not. Also

My thoughts about ika just went right out the window.

What kind of programming language are we talking, cause I can program to a degree, just not in RGSS yet.

I have been toying with the idea of Ika, but the link doesn't work for me...
