FALLEN EARTH, DEFINITELY NOT A FALLOUT CLONE.

As I sit here, after a game of Team Fortress 2, I accidentally come across a game called Fallen Earth, a true MMOFPS (as opposed to the fake ones, ala Combat Arms) fallout clone game set in a post apocalyptic grand canyon. A lot of the ideas presented seem interesting; and it's pretty much the second true MMOFPS out there at the moment. Being a former MMO player and big FPS person; The game itself is by an independent developer and apparently it's shown a great deal of promise despite a few pre-release pangs (bugs). I hear it makes a strong emphasis on crafting, and has skill based advancement (no classes).

This is the part where I'd show a slew of screenshots in game, but unfortunately I'm not sure whether or not to give this a shot yet. For anyone interested the website is as follows : http://www.fallenearth.com/

Sorry, I don't play Fallout clones.
Seriously I'll just stick with WOW. (If I ever install it again lol.)

As a fan of MMOFPS games, I might give it a try, though I'm still waiting for any word on Huxley.

I'm going to break the law for you here.

Huxley is awful. I was in the closed beta, it's awful. It's combat arms with an even shittier engine. Think Unreal Tournament 3, but in third person, with crappy mechanics, uninteresting weapons, a cash shop, and instanced combat.

I was in the open beta for Fallen Earth, it seemed fun and it had quite the amazing tutorial, but quickly after that it became collect these items/kill this certain amount of monsters, it's virtually every other MMO with the only difference being that you can effectively use guns.
