I would like to make a sort of shenmue game for the rpg maker 2003 or xp but, there is one problem!
I cannot do graphics and would like to use original stuff is possible.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there that would like to make the graphics for me (I would like
them to look good). This will be my first big project, however, I am not new to the world of rpg maker
and have been making games for years now! Trouble is I have only just got the internet at my house for
the first ever time. So, I am not new and can program the stuff into the game.
I already have the idea of the game but would like some graphics to help me.
There is no money involved as sega own the rights to the game, if you would like to take me up on this
then please either leave a message here or pm me.
Please don;t ask me to upload any of my older games as they were all deleted.

I would say I'd do graphics (Cause I've been looking for requests) but since you're making a Shenmue fangame pretty much....

Most people that make their own graphics usually don't want to copy others' work - ie Fan games. Unless you're willing to pay someone to do it, I don't see it happening. Now, if you had an original idea for a game, with your own characters and plot and could show people some proof of your ability then I'm sure someone might offer to help you.
Still, there may be one or two people out there who'll let you use their original graphics in a fan game. Good luck finding them, though.

i wanted to make a game like this to show the sort of skill i would be capable of, trouble is i've never wanted to just use the rtp supplied.

Most people won't simply just make you graphics unless you prove that you can do something with it. Currently, I can't just believe you have any experience with RM unless you show me something.
If you don't like the RTP why not use some shinmue rips instead? Or one of the other thousand or so graphics out there? Mack and Blue, Theodore, thousands of game rips (FF6/Rudra/SoM/BoFII/Suikoden just to name a couple)
Google "The spriters resource" for already ripped graphics or grab a rom and rip your own. Easy as pie!

I'm not fuly certain if you could rip the graphics from shenmue, not tried it cause i didnt think it was possible. If need to, i'll think of a quick little game that i could make using the rtp to show whatever i can do. I'll have a think of something else to make.
