It aired yesterday night on Filmfour. Great movie. It's given me a lot of new ideas for my RPG story. :P
So has anyone watched it? It got a cool 96% on RottenTomatoes.

I liked it, but I was disappointed. I thought it was going to be... psychoish. Or something
It was great. When I went to see it last spring, I was coming off four or five HORRIBLE fantasy movies (I know Eragon was one of them. I don't remember what the ones before that were), and was almost losing faith in the genre, and Pan's Labyrinth restored all the faith I had lost. It was just excellent.
Really awesome movie. Not only toyed with the idea of imagination between reality, but had some interesting creature designs too.

If anyone wants to see a good foreign movie I highly suggest "The lives of others" made in germany
I enjoyed Pan's Labyrinth a lot. It really played heavily on my expectations of what would happen next, every step of the way...

SPOILER--
I argued with my friends afterwards about what really happened to the little girl... I argued that it was all a bunch of illusions throughout, made up in her mind, and that she had just plain and simple been murdered... but there's not much point arguing over it, I guess![/hide

To be honest I never understood why she's a princess. Her mum burns the ragdoll in the fire and stuff so I don't get why she's the queen. Maybe it's just me interpreting things the wrong way but was that "put the doll under your mom's bed" just a test. The doll screaming in the fire didn't seem so. Hmm..also the faun couldn't be seen by the Captain so that's when I thought the plot would twist. It'd reveal a mental disorder in the girl but it just moved on to end in a strange "they all lived happily ever after" manner.
