IDRAW, QUESTION.

Now, Im not sure if its because I use vista... because I remember the program not giving me issues before on Xp, but now any time I open two instances or IDraw and try to copy paste between them, I get the Error, Size is Strange 0x0.
I bypassed the error by opening paint and copying the cut from the first IDraw there, cutting again and then pasting in the second IDraw. It really slows down my Chipset combinging/editing, and I was wondering if I have the latest version for windows or if anyone else is having this Issue? Im using Version 3.32.1.
(Also I get the DIB ERROR a lot when copy pasting inside one IDraw by itself.)
Every time I go looking for a new download of the program so I can see if I have a corrupted install, I can only find Mac version, or broken links. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you for your time.
(Added later) ah, So I found a new download for it, and it apparently is just that its Vista... X.x So I guess, nvm.
Maybe Ill do all my graphics editing on my laptop instead.
and Im guessing there is no way to delete a post... so... ya.

Yeah, I've been getting that error ever since I upgraded to Windows 2000, and still do with Windows 7. Never had Vista, so it can't be because of that!
@Blue:
Yeah, this problem is well known. You can't copy an image selection between two Idraw windows, and there are two reasons: 1st reason ist the error that you got, that happens everytime, IMO. 2nd is that Idraw only supports 8bit colourdepth, so the 2nd image doesn't adopt the first image's colours.
This dib error is a an error in Idraw's source code, I guess there is no way to solve that. Only thing that can keep down that problem is when you save your pic frequently (at least that was my impression). Maybe it would be better if you use another program, I can really recommend Graphics Gale.

A quick way to get past the copy/paste issue is to open the image in another program and then copy/paste it into iDraw. It works, though slows the process a little.
The other problem is easily handled by just selecting another area in the picture and then retrying or just doing something else to the image, even if you undo it after. Should allow you to do what you want after that without having to restart/reopen the picture just fine.

I know what you mean, Liberty, but this is not the point I was writing about. With saving I meant to click ctrl+s, not restarting the program after saving itself.
Ive started using Graphics gale for brightness and color changes on my chipsets, a feature that IDraw doesnt really have well functioned., but I still like using IDraw for the chip copy/pasting, since its still easy to click and drag in that program.
And yes, Ive noticed if the two files dont have the same color Pallette and some of the colors on the copied item are different, it looks really odd when you paste it. so you have to go and manually add the colors used in the cut to the new pallette, which takes forever.
