National Novel Writing Month.
50 000 words in 30 days.
I'm doing it. Just like I've (tried) to do it the last bunch of years. Anyone else over here doing it? It starts tonight so just thought I'd give you the heads up.
I would write something longer but to be honest I won't. Share your experiences and your story ideas here. As well as your nano usernames if you want. I'm obviously Shinan

50000 words in 30 days is way too daunting, having a time limit is too constricting, and I just finished a novel, so I probably won't be.
Sadly, I don't have time to participate, but I know one fanfiction author who won Nanowrimo 4 years in a row so 50000 words in a month is definitely not impossible.
I guess it figures out to a little under 2000 words per day. I could probably handle that - it's roughly equivalent to the average 3-4 page essay. It would be a lot of work, but if one were to pace himself, it wouldn't be too tough.
Not sure how much free time I'll have this month but I'll give it a go anyway. I really need to improve my linguistic skills.
