THE CRAZE NUMBER

I hope not. This is the most interesting thread I've seen here in quite awhile. I think board rules sometimes have the unintended side effect of sterilizing activity and discussion rather than promoting it.
Anyway, I like a lot of your dialogue in these. It has a quirky charm to it that reminds me of some of thernz stuff.

It's been two days, and Karsu's seen it and thinks that it's a nifty idea. If the mods had a problem with this topic, it would have been addressed already.
statistic: Thanks on all parts - but that's this "thernz" stuff? I swear I remember that name, but...?

Rastaban/Azmir
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbA26oI_QoU
Azmir came first, then it evolved into Rastaban. It was my first real toying-around project with the Tankentai side-view ATB-hacked system or whatever it's called. I really liked it but I also tried to cram in 500 other systems at once, so it got to the point where I just couldn't handle the progression of everything.
The story was this: you're a group of adventurers silently investigating a new continent. As you travel along, the spirit of a woman slowly unravels the mysteries of Rastaban and the other parts of the continent, eventually warning you of the great evil that takes hold of the people that live here. In every cycle of the planet's main humanoid race, they attempt to settle the continent - but their sins grow to be many, as the adventuring party gradually discovers on their own...
Fun fact: All of the locations in Rastaban were named after stars.

I always wanted to play Rastaban since you posted screens in the screenshot topic ages ago. Are you going to put up any downloads for any of these games, or are they all un-playable?
I remember a similar topic you made once where you posted all your work, with downloads I believe; but I can't find it.

Friday's End: A Fairytale

This game was going to be a fairytale about a woman, Wendy, finding the bones of her dead lover in order to bring him back from a premature end. She travels with a friendly man (probably going to be gay, of course) named Justin and physical manifestations of Wendy's conscience: Bounce, the angelthing and Lucifly the devilthing.
Lucifly will probably be my avatar sometime soon.
Yes, everything in that screenshot is my horrible attempt at custom art.

Craze, I do love your games. "Demon Tower" is so funny and entertaining, and I'm just discovering "Dress" thanks to this topic.
The problem is...why on earth do you now only make RMVX games? It makes my old comp lag, and even sometimes freeze, and I'm not the only one encountering that problem!
Please pity us, and try to sometimes use RM2K3...
If I'm asking too much, what I can understand, why not allow us to download all those games you spoke of here?
Just thinking...

Craze, in the last screenshot, you've probably pinned down the ONLY pair of RMXP charactersets that do not suck. Tell me; are they custom or not?
... Hmm. This is kind of interesting; I really do recognize most of the projects you've presented here - either because you've mentioned them time and again, OR I've really been around GW for too long.

They're totally custom and are the only ones in existence.
The walking's a little wonky, but hey.
Izazie: I like VX, and really I only make projects with Karsu now. Maybe I'll do a week-long project in 2k3 or something, who knows.
(I'll post more tonight, guys.)

Everskin

In this game, different races started to find what they thought were unique runes in their parts of the world. Everybody eventually starts to realize that the ciphered statues that have been claiming to be their own are identical to all of the others... so they start stealing them in a giant game of capture-the-flag. Then they all start releasing evil into the world.
Greed and sealed evil in a can yay
Fun Fact: I'm pretty sure that I was mixing the racial diversity theme and my infamous flop Eversnow in the title.

Amazing Grace

Yes, yes. This is possibly one of my best-looking RTP games ever.
You played as Eroh, a rabbitboy, and a number of other strange humanoids attempting to fulfill a fake prophecy, only to learn that the sheer force of their will and determination to become heroes actually generates a true demonic threat. It was also going to be really fucking depressing and include a slime hooker.
A SLIME that SOLD ITSELF. Her name was Alonza.
The disjointed faceset/charset graphics were intentional. I wanted to create a game that was visually appealing but also amateurish - just like the heroes, suddenly thrust into something they probably can't handle.
That Chasing April psychological thinger? Yeah this is the tail end of that.

I really like that mountain area. Great RTP use!
You always come up with great ideas, Craze. Insanely fun, funny, chaotic ideas, but great all the same.

Crazey ideas. No one has ever made that joke ever.
I would have played Friday's End though. And I remember a certain Ara Fell successor called "Ever Snow" or something like that.
I should probably get to playing V&V soon.

Sailing on a Silver Moon
This is the beginning of the Arcane Mist stuff. I won't talk too too much about AM yet, but...
This was a pretty bad game with animu and yeah I have no idea what was going on when I made it, but I made it and there it is! Trance2 played a demo of it I think. Yeah. It has the same name as one of my very first games, but that one was about the distant past of the Arcane Mist universe. This took place at the same time as AM and Worldsong, focusing on maids and little girls and blood and shit. It was horrible.
Horrible.
