So I'm assuming everyone has heard of the airport shootout controversy?
The level seems pretty much made for the intent of making a huge media splash. Also lolfoxnews being predictable.

To be honest, they were both pretty bad at explaining their sides. And it wasn't really that bad in terms of actual debate, they at least let him tell his reasoning for it all instead of it being one sided. He should have came more prepared, though.

My brother's friend actually got so pissed off at him about the whole dedicated server thing that he defriended him on facebook temporarily. (Holy shit amirite? I mean I've heard stories of people breaking-up benignly, then one defriends the other, and all chaos all of a sudden ensues.) There was this "us vs. them" drama going on where my brother represented the console gamers and the friend was the computer gamers, and that the former couldn't understand the latter's point of view. Meanwhile, my brother is trying to explain that he didn't really care one way or the other, that he doesn't solely play console games and doesn't define himself as such, and that while the dedicated server stuff sucks, MW2 is still going to be a good game. It was probably just built up resentment over a period of time (he's that kind of volatile person), but still.

Anyone who's constantly buying the same type of FPS games over and over deserves to get ripped off. PC gaming is dying but IMO so is the whole gaming industry.

Can you prove otherwise? I saw EA Sports pull off a lazy stunt with FIFA 10 in October and now MW2. Also, there's the issue of profits for the game companies which I assume is much less than on consoles (partly thanks to how easy it is to pirate any game made for a computer nowadays).

Just because EA or Activision treat PC gamers like dirt doesn't mean PC gaming is going to die.
