Me:

10. Fable
Rounding out the top 10 is the excellent RPG Fable. While I enjoy turn-based combat (or combat I can pause and give instructions (see #1. game)), Fable was engaging and fun to play.

9. Lego Star Wars: The Video Game
It's like being a kid all over again!

8. Star Wars: Battlefront
It's like being a teen all over again!

7. Burnout 3: Takedown
I spent more time smashing cars than racing. This game is damn fun.

6. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
A worthy sequel to the original Sands of Time.

5. Amped
What? The original snowboarding game? Yes, and it's a blast to play, too. I liked it more than any of the sequels and any of the SSX games. The controls were much more friendly in this first edition. I've wrapped the game 5 times now.

4. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
This is the first xbox game to blow me away. Running up and along walls, shimmying along cliffs, slashing sand demons - all good fun. And with a good story, too. The time effect, which is a gimmick in any other game, works extremely well in this one. Good job, Ubisoft!

3. Simpsons Hit & Run
Radical! GTA with a Simpsons skin (and story). I still spend hours playing this game.

2. Knights of the Old Republic II
Almost as good as the original - in some ways better (like the weapon and armor crafting) but falls short in the story dept. Specifically, the ending. What a letdown. But everything else is awesome.

1. Knights of the Old Republic
Statement: This is the best game on the Xbox, and the best game to come out in years. It deserves the 40+ Game of the Year awards it received.

PoP: Warrior Within

Haven't played many Xbox games, but...

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is incredible, on any platform. Starwars: Battlefront is good, but the sequel has the edge simply because you can turn into a Jedi and run around slaughtering people with a lightsaber. Halo is also pretty fun, but not when you're playing with someone who really knows what they're doing--they destroy you in minutes.

Are we allowed to list XBox 360 games?

Are we allowed to list XBox 360 games?
Sure!

EDIT:
Actually, I agree with Him.

I'll make a separate Xbox 360 list sometime in the future (and a separate PS2 and PS1 and PS3 list, too).
XBox360 should be a separate top 10 list. Anyway, I will just quote you on the three games that I really enjoyed on XBox (I am sure that had I actually owned one I might have gotten into a few shooters or something):

3. Knights of the Old Republic II
I generally like Bioware games a lot. This game did a pretty solid job imitating and improving on the first, and I actually liked it a bit more. I give it slightly less credit for originality. I played this on PC and not XBox, but I'm sure the experience is the same.

2. Knights of the Old Republic
A brilliant work of Star Wars fanservice that most people argue is the best thing to happen to Star Wars since the original trilogy in the 1970 and 80s. This was one of the most innovative and well-crafted RPGs anyone had ever seen and one of the XBox's few saving graces for many years. Although, let's be honest; this game would have never happened if not for the groundwork layed by Fallout.

1. Fable
I played this on 360 years after the fact so I wasn't expecting the BEST RPG EVER as promised by Peter Molyneaux (spelling?). Therefore, I could see the game for what it was: an oustanding action-RPG with extremely clever writing, tons of style, and core gameplay that felt good. One major drawback in my opinion was that the game effectively rewarded you for using weak attacks by building up a massive modifier, but I guess you can't win them all. My favorite game on the original XBox.

Never played many XBox games. Most of the ones I was interested in I was able to/can play on PC.
Only played 2 Xbox games, both pretty good.

Fable: Very good RPG, and I especially like the detailed differwences between being good and evil.

Morrowind: Second favorite RPG game on a platform system (second to Oblivion) I can play for hours and not get bored.
I have no XBox so I just can't enter my list, but I'll when XBox360 list come out.
Anyway, I can't believe how Halo disappoint me... Everyone said it was the greatest FPS game, but I saw Call of Duty even better...
Starscream
Conquest is made from the ashes of one's enemies.

1. Knights of the Old Republic

This is simply one of the best games I have ever played. The story and plot was excellent, especially the badass plot twist, the battle mechanics were fresh, the environments were cool, the voice acting was some of the best I have ever heard in a videogame and, oh, I have a small crush on Bastila.

2. Knights of the Old Republic II

This game is very similar to the first one, albeit with a few cool new systems. The story was pretty decent until it disappeared at the end and I got a crappy text ending. My heart craves a new KOTOR on the 360. I may have to settle for Mass Effect.

3. Jade Empire

I loved the previous BioWare offering, KOTOR, and I love ancient China. Mix them together with a memorable cast (with a bi-sexual asian ninja princess), another epic plot twist, a fun but relatively simple kung-fu battle system and I was sold. Lets hope the rumors of Jade Empire 2 are true!

4. Halo

When I got a Xbox for Christmas of 2001, my wife had gotten me NBA Live 2002, and a buddy had gotten me Azurik. In retrospect, they should have gotten me this. The campaign mode was awesome, THERE IS INDEED A PLOT, and the final level was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Oh yeah, I invested a ton of time in multiplayer with friends!

5. Halo 2

Halo 2 was a mixed bag. The story progressed nicely but they kind of forgot to put in an ending. The game added some new mechanics, some that felt clunky. However, being able to play Halo 2 on LIVE was magical.

6. Morrowind

Morrowind was actually one of my first experiences with a wRPG and I had a blast with the open world. However, it was also the first time I experienced terrible framerates on a console!

7. Fable

I will concur with kentona and Mr. Abley. Fable is a fun, albeit simple, action RPG with enough quirks and charms to help it stand on its own despite everything that was "missing" from the final cut.

8. X-Men Legends

I've been an X-Men fanboy forever, and while I wish they stuck to the original universe for the game it was still a pretty awesome experience.

9. Jedi Academy

It was a tough call to pick between Jedi Outcast and its sequel, Jedi Academy. They are both very similar games, being an awesome Star Wars FPS with lightsaber battles. I gave the nod to Jedi Academy because it had online multiplayer via LIVE, with Outcast lacked.

10. Phantasy Star Online: Episodes I & II

I really enjoyed the multiplayer aspect of this game. The single player story was entirely non-existant, but hacking and slashing with friends made it shine. I even ponied up the dough for the Hunter's License for awhile and played it on LIVE.

Honorable mentions: Jedi Outcast, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, NBA 2K5, NFL 2K5 (best NFL game ever, I have boycotted EA since they got exclusive rights to the NFL after NFL 2K5 was such a hit), Simpsons Hit & Run, Sonic Mega Collection... many others. I loved my Xbox.
Well, I can't think of an exact order, but here is my list:

1. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Absolutely amazing game. Both online and offline game modes were a challenge, so anyone without live could still enjoy te game. I also found it to have tons of replay value, since I had so much fun messing with the AI. If you are on a dark level, you can show yourself, the AI shoots at you, but instead of running, get into the shadows, and move quietly, the AI still thinks you are where you used to be, and will continue to investigate there. So many hours of my life gone.

2. Winning Eleven Nine - I love sports games, and this was, without a doubt, the best soccer game ever to release for Xbox. One of the main things I look for in sports games is customization, and this had TONS of it. You could create a team, and then edit their jersey with multiple layers of goodness. Then you could create an emblem, using layers, or even pixel by pixel. You could then create the players for the team, and even make cleats! I just couldn't stop with this game.

3. Half Life 2 - AHAHA, best FPS storyline for Xbox ever, so addicting, nice ragdoll too. Mmmmm, source engine, got to love it.

4. Fable - Yes indeed, we see this one a lot. After I beat the game, I was slightly depressed, because there was no more hard enemies to kill with that mega sword you get at the end, so I just took it and slaughtered entire towns. And for you who don't know, you MUST watch the credits to continue playing the game.

5. Halo 2 - Story was alright, live was kickass, plain and simple.

6. Grand Theft Auto Vice City - Although I like the freedom of San Andreas more, I think this one deserves the #6 spot because I played it way more. Either way, however, saints row for the 360 beats them all.

7. NCAA Football 2005 - Yes, it's a football game with lots of customization and a progressive dynasty mode.

8. Jade Empire - Never got far enough into it to fully enjoy it, so I can't put it any higher. Nevertheless, it was good from what I played of it

9. Star Wars Knights of the old republic II - Kind of same as above, I loved my dual bladed red sabre, mmmm mmmmmmmmm.

10. Tony Hawk's Underground (ONE not two) - Completely destroys it's sequel, THUG was so much funj. I found that THUG 2 completely strayed from the "Build yourself as a skateboarder" to "Let's blow shit up in an unimaginative storyline", so I didn't like it as much.
The only games i really play on the xbox are games such as Halo and i am obsessed with the tennis game topspin. Don't really have a top ten list.
