So, do we have any sort of consensus on the theme for BQ5 yet? If not, I will pick something stupid like Sky Pirates.

I am so transparent.
I like pirates x ninjas, but if not, Pirates is better than Sky Pirates for technical (RTP) purposes. But Pirates x Ninjas is also an RTP-friendly theme. :D
Befuddle Quest 5: Vikings and Pirates and Ninjas, oh my!

Pirates and Vikings are the same thing. Title is too long?

They are?

Here I am thinking of the typical stereotypes - you know, the savage bearded barbarians with axes and horned helmets (vikings) and the swashbuckling bandana-wearing skull-and-crossbone sea raiders (pirates).
Maritime piracy, according to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) of 1982, consists of any criminal acts of violence, detention, rape, or depredation committed for private ends by the crew or the passengers of a private ship or aircraft that is directed on the high seas against another ship, aircraft, or against persons or property on board a ship or aircraft.

The term Viking (pronounced /ˈvaɪkɪŋ/) is customarily used to refer to the Norse (Scandinavian) explorers, warriors, merchants, and pirates who raided, traded, and settled in wide areas of Europe and the North Atlantic islands from the late eighth to the mid-eleventh century.

Vikings are norse pirates.
the common stereotypes are separated by about 7 centuries, dood.
Vikings is too specific, and it's inevitably tied to the norse culture and mythology. Pirates and Ninjas are broad and easy to mess with. I vote nay for vikings.
do you know anything about how language develops

because the word viking is separated from its original meaning by about as long
Ninjas is too specific, and it's inevitably tied to the japanese culture and mythology. Vikings and Pirates are broad and easy to mess with. I vote nay for Ninjas.

Pirates is too specific, and it's inevitably tied to the caribbean culture and mythology. Vikings and Ninjas are broad and easy to mess with. I vote nay for Pirates.
Mmm... ok, maybe I'm from a completely different culture.
But since you used this weird word-play argument to vote nay for Pirates and Ninjas, let's make a BQ about bunnies.
