Ok, as stupid as this may sound to you, but I really would like some help and/or tips on how to review some games. I literally, have 131 RM games saved and I yet to do a review for a single one of them. It isn't that I do not want to, but maybe it is due to how I play most games, commercial and RM alike.
I am horrible at explaining thins, but the best way I can only think of putting it is that I sorta turn my mind off when playing any video games. Anyways, is there a good way to review a game for me other than "turn your mind on."

Look at some other member reviews note the things they talk about and how they
rate certain aspects.
Then downright rip them off.

Categorize!
Think about the varous parts of what goes into a game, break them into categories to talk about in your review. Something like Preface, Story, Graphics, Gameplay, Conclusion, ect. . Then play the game and take notes while doing so on any of the categories you`ve written or anything else that caught your eye. Compile notes into coherent writing, write review draft, proofread next day (or hours, whatever works), submit, sip coke.
If you put more than ten minutes of work into it it`ll get accepted. Shabam your first review! Learn from what you did on your review, what you thought worked, ask for criticism on it, and then your second will (hopefully) be better! Over time you can make changes to your outline/categories and make your review format more effective/unique.

BROTIP: Don't be afraid to go into full detail of a consistent flaw in the game that you really hate, and by full detail I mean downright bitching about why it shouldn't exist in the first place. If it's backed up with good reasoning and rage clarity, chances are, your review might teach the author something!
I think one of the problems when it comes to reviewing is that I am willing to give anything a shot and let things be as they are. A couple of examples would be Love and War, Notes on the Second Mellynd War, and Money and Power (or how the cool kids say it, Money N' Power). They all use mixture of different graphic themes for town, in which some were flat-out bad, but it never turned me off and just never made me think about it TOO much.
I guess I could replay all these 131 RM games... though, 10-15 of them aren't even from RM.
Thanks for the advice, guys. Still looking for any other kind of tips too, if other people feel like throwing their 50 Cents in.

I'd definitely recommend picking some basic categories like GRS mentioned (Characters, Plot, Gameplay, etc) and playing the game with a notepad by your side. I just take a series of notes for anything that interests me, good or bad, and write the review up at the end. Of course, just playing through it, you probably have SOME opinion about it. You either enjoyed it or you didn't.
