This was a pretty horrific tragedy, and it kind of frustrates me that most people my age don't seem to really give a shit. =[

We can also send blankets, clothes (if not ragged!), tents, camping stoves, pans or lamps, anything we don't need for the time being and that could help them: they've lost everything, remember.
Charity associations use to collect drinkable water, first necessity food, such as powder milk, tins, food for babies, rice, and any kind of non perishable foodstuff. Just call the nearest Red Cross spot, they most probably already began to collect things.
Here, the chemists collect the unused medications, such as aspirin, antibiotics and the like. Maybe it's the same where you live?
And even if they don't, you can try and create a group with your school mates (or work mates)?

I went to Haiti this summer, it was a pretty unique experience! The people there are as friendly as could be, and were really hospitable, despite the incredibly poor conditions.
This is a really terrible thing to have happened, we're currently trying to get into contact with the people who hosted us. Looking through some of the pictures of the devastation started to make me feel sick

Alright. Give me a little while, though. I'll definitely get on this before the end of the day though! However I'm a terrible graphic artist when it comes to this sort of thing, so I'm going to be honest and say that someone else is probably better suited to make a graphic than I am! Please, if any of you guys have a bit of talent and a bit of time, please take up the offer to make some graphics in my stead (worst comes to worst, though, I'll try it myself).
