I need a good program to import midi to mp3. It can be easy-mode (like a click or two) or need some configuration/reconstruction/recomposition of the song. I just want something good that doesn't need me to recreate the entire song.

You can download Synthfont, go out and find some soundfonts (sf2 files), and use that. In Synthfont you set the soundfonts you want for the instruments, adjust the volumes for the instruments, then go to Play to File, and you have a few options of what to save it to, one of them being mp3.
A general midi soundfont should be okay for starters if you don't want to download a bunch of single instrument sf2s.
