DATABASE BUG IN RPG MAKER 2003

When an enemy has the "basic" attack, of "charge up" or "double attack" and I fight them in the game, on screen the power reads "walk right (or left) for charge up and "Status abnormality" for double attack.
Does anybody know how to fix this other than scrapping the database and starting over?
Thank you,
Xchain

What kind of patches are you uisng? I can tell you you are using something, that's for sure.
That isn't a database error.
Download "Resource Hacker". Open your RPG_RT file with it. (The one you click to play the game)
Double click on the folder called "String Table" and then double click on "4079" and click on the file named "0". In the window to the right, you'll see a bunch of text. Replace them all with this following text:
STRINGTABLE
LANGUAGE LANG_NEUTRAL, SUBLANG_NEUTRAL
{
65248, "Double Attack"
65249, "Defend"
65250, "Observe Battle"
65251, "Charge Up"
65252, "Self-Destruct"
65253, "Escape"
65254, "Name"
65255, "Class"
65257, "Condition"
65258, "Confirm"
65259, "Redo"
65260, "Frnt"
65261, "Back"
65262, "RPG Maker 2003"
65263, "The RPG Maker 2003 Runtime Package is not present or not registered."
When you finish, click SAVE, don't click SAVE AS.
