CloseI am making a remake of FFX and am wondering where i can find the ffx battle charas. Now before anybody says anything I am not releasing this it is for my own reasons and benefits. If anybody knows where I can find some please help I would greatly appreciate it
I remember someone making some decent FFX battle characters from way back. could be on charas project. I think you'd be better off just doing them yourself or just not "remake" the game all together?

Yeah but I'm sick and tired of overdrive sin kicking my butt no matter what I do. So I though "meh remake the game urself" yeah im a weirdo.

there was a number of battle-charactersets, including FFX-ones, made by Tantalus posted on various websites some years ago.
By some quick searching, I was able to salvage the sprites of Tidus, Yuna, Auron and Kimahri but I feel as if I've seen the entire cast made in the same style, however, with a bit of work, maybe the other sets made by tantalus could be modified to your advantage?

No matter what I do, overdrive sin wips me everytime. I've beat him and the rest of the game before but that was using cheats which I don't have anymore so I'm just gonna remake the thing and play what I make. Call me a coward mabey I am one but I just can't beat him so I'm just gonna remake it and keep it for myself.
Dude, seriously, read an FAQ on playing the game or something. Even with the NORMAL AEONS Sin is a goddamn pushover unless you happen to be the type of dumbass who presses flee at every battle.
In that case, GO AND GRIND. Don't demake a classic because you suck.
Read a walkthrough, seriously. Get all the aeons. Grind a little (though FFX isn't that much of a grinding game, I do enjoy a good grind). Keep trying until you win. I suck at RPG's, without a doubt in my mind, and I beat Sin's forms on my first try and had to reset after a fatal miscalculation during the very very final fights. I beat him next round.
It's a CTB. Use Rikku. Mix. Get some good items. Get some good weapons. PLAY THE GAME HOW IT SHOULD BE PLAYED. IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE EASY.
You're just making it more difficult for yourself saying 'I'm going to remake because I suck' because remaking is going to be hundreds of times more difficult than playing the game properly.

With the time and willpower you would need to make a FFX remake, you could beat Sin a thousand times with your eyes closed. I wouldn't expect it to take you less then a year to make a helf-decent remake... that considering you're really making an effort. And for my experience in the RPGMaker community, chances that you'll ever finish such project are close to winning the lottery. So... don't do that. Seriously.

Accualy the only purpose grinding serves is getting further on the sphere grid which pft is what u need to do if you want to get anywhere in the game. After doing some research I've descovered that the way to go about that battle is to be quicker than Sin meaning the battle is basically timed meaning that Aeons will only make things worse unless you have a total powerhouse like Anima. Knowing this, all I have to do is kill him as quick as possible meaning Haste is a must so yeah with knowing this I'm pretty sure that I can come up with something.
