THOUGHTS ON: LOST ODDESSY

This game I actually had low expectations for. I never thought about buying it and at the most renting it to see if it was worth my time. My friend let me borrow it for some time and when I got around to play it I thought it exceeded my expectations by far. There's alot I liked about the game, including the storyline, the dramatics, the battles, and the setting. Most people would argue that Kaim was an emo fag, but I think he's a more interesting character than alot of what I've seen in a while.
Ahh Jansen, that first time you meet him haha. I would say the whole concept behind it was pretty interesting and overall the game was pretty good. Still felt lacking in a lot of areas though like the gameplay and just general pacing seemed off to me. Seth was another cool character in this game.
Enjoyable JRPG for the most part, hell of a lot better then Blue Dragon.
Edit - Haha here is the fateful Jansen meeting!

It's pretty cool, but sometimes you can just see that the game was made in Japan.
And the Kelolon's are so cute ^-^

Haha, well I will agree that the pacing can be not harmonious with the plot and gameplay at times, but that to me was a small blemish on a welcome JRPG that offered a little some new to the genre. Though I'm willing to argue that next-gen graphics and capabilities had a part in that (for things like cinematic / dramatic qualities).
