FORWARDING PORTS HELP

I need help with something. Finding my router password. My Brother set it up a long time ago, and I need to know it as well as the router username in order to be able to forward any ports. As a quick explination, I am doing this so my utorrent can download at a speed faster than 30kb/s. The password is requested when I type in 192.168.0.1 into my web browser (Which leads to my router. It asks for a username and password for DI-524. My brother doesn't remember it anymore, and I never knew it, so is there any way to retrieve it or reset it?

If nothing helps with that, does anyone know how to find ports that are already open or forwarded? The last time my Utorrent started it with a randomly opened port, but withjout realizing it, my utorrent was set to randomize ports everytime it started, so now I Dont know whichj port I was using before. I have tried finding open ports with some software already, but utorrent still tells me they aren't open. Any help is appreciated.
Find the rest button on your router and hold it for a few seconds (10+ should be plenty). That should force a hard reset to its factory settings. If its still asking for a password, don't type anything in and see if it accepts that.

There are tons of websites that list the default login for various routers. Go search for yours and then hit the reset button.
On this topic, I have a similar problem- even though I've done the port forwarding process according to several different websites multiple times, uTorrent still doesn't recognize the ports as open. Why would that be?
