Hm. Well really the last idea is to put the same captcha on the comment forms. Which I don't like due to it slowing the process down.

At that point though there's not much you can do, as the person could pass the captcha on the comments too, it just becomes twice as annoying and slower for all parties. I think a captcha on registration and forum topics is plenty myself.

Perhaps some sort of a system for reporting bot comments more easily if it gets bad enough?

I wouldn't mind, it just needs to kick in the first time you comment in a day or something per session like YouTube. It doesn't have to be for every comment.

Nah he's just a douche. I even talked to him to ask him to quit spamming the game page, to which he responds that he is disappointed that so many promising projects get abandoned, because that's an excuse to necro dead crap. :/
