CloseI've been sketching some stuff for the RPG I'm working on, so I guess I'll post the results here. I just have a couple for one character right now. I'll just post links as I don't want to make my posts humongous.

Heh, I've had a person elsewhere compare her to some street fighter characters (like Makoto).
Her name is Salali (Sal for short) and she's the flat-out strongest of the four party members. The main character is a guy named Eric who's more of a mage type. I'll post a couple sketches of him soon.

Not sure if I should be bumping like this, but whatever.
Here's a picture of Eric. I'm sure I'll revisit him. He ended up looking a tad dopier than I intended, but he's actually a pretty snarky guy.
And here's a picture of Sal's older sister, Jula. It's not terribly inspired, but hey, it's the first time I've drawn her. Again, I'm sure I'll revisit her.

So, here's an old shaman guy
His name is Goguh, and though he may not initially look it, he'll end up being a major villain who's trying to create a much more oppressive society.
Still, as stodgy and traditional as he is, he can't deny the comfort a of a good button-down shirt. Also, he probably won't be wearing all of that stuff all the time. I just wanted to design it. Though right after scanning it I realized I forgot to fill in some beadwork patterns, like the giant blank circle on his belt.
Also, news update: the muscular chick's name is now Salali (she goes by Sal though) and the older girl is Jula. Not that anybody probably cared.

I'm liking these. You especially put alot of detail into the shaman image. Have you thought about coloring these?
These are pretty good, good eye for anatomy, and some decent posing. Looks like you used some reference, too.

@Rowan: well, I'll have to color something at some point if I want to use anything as an in-game portrait. I've always been a bit lazy about coloring though, which is something I'm not exactly proud of...
@Karsuman: Yeah, I'm always looking up stuff on google image search for reference. Even something as simple as a head dress (which is just a band with feathers sticking out) is improved by a reference of some kind. And it ALWAYS helps to find pictures of hands, though I winged it pretty well on my own in that last pic.
I'm not sure what you mean when you ask if they're going anywhere though. Like, as in fully coloring them? Or as in using them for something?

Well, yeah, obviously. Though I'm still in design stages, so none of these pictures are the ones I'll actually ink, scan, and color. Those will come later.
