Thank you very much.
Also, I guess there's no zoom tool then?

No, guess not...
Why would you want this? Everything is pretty big already.
Zooming out is actually what I meant. Would make things a lot easier.
post=132181I turn off my speakers.
It's most likely just me, but when you turn on the music in editor, how the hell do you turn it off? I'm going insane and I cannot find an answer anywhere.
The number one reason I don't use this tool more is the STUPID ass music thing. It is SUCH INCREDIBLY POOR DESIGN. It makes me ANGRY.
I don't WANT TO listen to MARIO MUSIC during the entirety of development time and I don't WANT to have to find the music and turn it back on every time I test play.

That`s where muting the program would be best: You can just mute the program while designing and unmute when playing. You can preserve music data in the level without forgetting to put it back in. Only problem is that I don`t think this is included with Windows XP so you`re stuck with the very terrible decision of having music constantly play and the associated workarounds.
On one computer, I downloaded it and it won't save my work. I make a level, and turn off the editor, then reopen and what I made is gone. Same in the play engine, my save files get deleted. I tried redownloading but nothing changed.
Then I tried it on another computer, and graphics wouldn't appear when you tried to put them on the screen.
But the save problem went away thankfully, but I can't keep the program on this computer, so I need help with fixing the saving problems!!!!

Are you using Windows Vista/7 and put the game in your ProgramFiles directory? If so you'll have to run the editor/save as an Administrator so the game can write/edit files into its subdirectories.
Ok, lol I just found this topic...YEAH for me. Anyway, how do I make dig dirt, like in the pyramid level on Mario Bros 2. Thanks.
oh thanks. Also, I am having one hell of a time figuring out how to make levels connect to the world map. I guess that would fall under warps. Any link I find that MAY be able to help me, is broken.
Experiment. Check the help file. I've never tried anything fancy on the world map/level connection beyond "Go on tile start level whatever.lvl". Except maybe warps once but I don't think I got them to work.
