COMMERCIAL RM GAMES?

I can't get enough of the classic RPG turn based battles, but unfortunately this seems to be a dying genre. I'm willing to pay money or even buy a new gaming system to get my fix and of course free RM games are awesome too. I'm aware of Aveyond and other AMARANTH games but I'm wondering if their are others?
Well there's the Laxius Force series and the rest of the games that studio makes... I didn't mind Laxius Power 1 and 2 (the free trilogy), despite the broken English and really hard gameplay, but the 3rd one is just terrible. I'm currently willing my way through it and I'm pretty sure I won't be trying the commercial sequels if they are anything like it. Horrible mapping, no story, same broken English, no game direction, and the worst stat balancing I've ever seen. I'm struggling just as much in the first area at level 13 as I was in level 4.

LP3 is hilariously bad, even though it is impressive in scope for a 2k3 game. What I did play wasn't great, but for some reason... I kept player. I don't think I've played any other RM* game more than LP3, except for maybe Three the Hard Way, Naufragar: Crimson or the original Kinetic Cipher.
It's to conquer the unconquerable I suppose. Otherwise I'm sure I'd have given up a long time ago too.

Have you gotten to the swamp yet? Oh god. Exiting it is where I ragequit, if I recall correctly (hey-o, basically impossible boss).

My fondest moment of the game was a clear-the-bandits sidequest where I entered an abandoned fort or something and like twenty bandits marched toward me. It was cool.
Pretty sure I saw an RMVX game advertised on Project Wonderful, but I forgot the name of it.

I can't find my way out of the swamp and I'm wanting to ragequit lol.

There are quite a few commercial games for VX, none of them seem worth it though. They all use the RTP.
Speaking of commercial rm games, Whisper of a Rose finally got released.

Yeah, the dude that sold his game for $20 when it was completely broken and was unbeatable. He comes back a year later saying "well it was broken because i put more effort in than everybody else" and puts a smiley face at the end of every post he makes now. :)

I don't see how you could sell a game that you haven't even playtested once. If this was anything other than the rm community he would have been torn to shreds. I honestly don't care how good that game is. :)

You should definitely try to free ones before looking for commercial ones.
How can you say classic RPG turn based battles is a dying genre???? Not in RM games it ain't.

Every minute you spend "willing your way" through Laxative Prowess is a minute you don't spend being bathed in the comparative awesome of my games. And for "my games" read MORE OR LESS ALL GAMES ON RMN, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL BETTER THAN THAT FRENCH TURD.

Serioiusly though...

@OP:
Are you...asking us to sell you games...because you don't want them....for FREE? I am just trying to understand what you are saying.

Edit:
Whisper of a Rose...no relation to Bloodrose/ In the Name of the Rose, right?
well yeah, I mean I appreciate all the great free RM games and that's why I'm here. but I do think the old school turn based battles are dying commercially unfortunately. Dragon Quest VIII was the last game I played like that and that was a PS2 game. I'm looking forward to Dragon Quest X on Wii but who knows when that will be released or even if it will be released in English. Dragon Quest IX seems interesting so I'm looking forward to that and I'll even buy a DS just for that game. I've played through all the SNES RPGs on emulators; I'm not just obsessed with Dragon Quest it's just that the series perfectly exemplifies what I'm talking about. it seems like most of the "new school" RPGs are things like Mass Effect and that kind of thing doesn't interest me at all *pukes*

I actually saw a web ad for Aveyond and that's what turned me on to the whole RM thing. I'm just wondering if there were any other RM games that were released commercially.
After my experience with Aveyond I wouldn't recommend commercial RM games at all (though I was skeptical of the idea from the start). You spend most of your time walking back and forth between places you've been a thousand times, so no wonder it takes so many hours to beat. I would stick to the free ones, there are quite a few great ones on here anyway and everyone is quick to recommend their faves. (The Way series).
I could charge you money for my old schoolish Dragon Questish game. Its 5-16 hours long. Movies are $8 for 90 minutes... so I should charge $24 right? :-)

With my game, you can buy cheap things to warp around to areas you have been. I don't want anyone to play longer than is fun to stack up the hours. That is just cheap. Plus other than towns, there is really no reason to go back to previous areas.

In Korea and China, RM games are bigger money. They each sell for $5, but they're fantastic epics!
I will not turn down cash if you play my game.
